Day 2: Huchuy Qosqo – Ollantaytambo
Breakfast with coca tea and preparation for the hike.
Trek from Quencco to the Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo.
Observation of beautiful landscapes and snow-capped mountains.
Bird watching, including hummingbirds.
Exploration of Huchuy Qosqo and its Inca buildings.
Lunch at Huchuy Qosqo.
Hike downhill to the village of Lamay.
Private transportation to Ollantaytambo.
Dinner at a restaurant before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.
Rest at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
Early breakfast and bus ride to Machu Picchu.
Observation of the sunrise and the Inca architecture in Machu Picchu.
Guided tour of 2.5 hours by the main sectors of the citadel.
Free time to explore on your own or climb Huayna Picchu if reserved.
Return to Aguas Calientes by bus and lunch.
Boarding the train to Ollantaytambo.
Private transportation back to Cusco and end of the service at the hotel.

You will receive a duffel bag that should not exceed 7kg, which will include your sleeping bag and your inflatable matra.
Professional guides who speak English and have a passion for teaching about their heritage.
We include a support staff (porter) who will carry your duffel bag containing your personal items at no additional cost.
The last night is spent in a 2-star hotel in Aguas Calientes in a shared room (included in the cost), with the option of a single room for an additional cost.
All transportation is included in the hike.
We use tents that can accommodate up to four people, but only two people share.
Boiled and purified water will be provided throughout the hike.
Feeding
Each guide is trained in first aid and always carries a first aid kit.
Each hiker receives a small sleeping pillow, a foam mat for insulation, a backpack cover to protect their gear while hiking, and a rain poncho.
Does not include:
Rentals: sleeping bags ($15), inflatable air mattresses ($10), and walking sticks ($10)
Huayna Picchu: 45-minute hike to the summit for $75 per person, arrangements must be made in advance.
Day packs: bring a day pack and avoid large items, Machu Picchu only allows backpacks up to 25L and essential items during the trek.
Headlamps: carry a headlamp for night camping, flashlights are also acceptable.
Flights: arrive in Cusco at least two days before the trek, LAN Peru is the most reliable airline, followed by Avianca and Peruvian Airlines, return from the trek until 8 pm on the last day.
Gratuities: appreciated and should be based on hiker's satisfaction
Travel insurance: it is recommended to have travel insurance to protect yourself during your travels, especially if you have difficulty adapting to the altitude.
