Day 1: Entry to Aguas Calientes

  • After breakfast, pick up at 07:00 a.m. to go to Ollantaytambo.
  • Short rest in Ollantaytambo.
  • Drive to Abra de Malaga (4,316 m.a.s.l.) with panoramic views.
  • Descent through microclimates into the jungle.
  • Arrival in Santa Teresa at 13:00 hours, lunch.
  • Continuation to Hidroeléctrica, arrival at 15:00 hours.
  • 2.5 hour hike to Aguas Calientes (train option).
  • Guide will take you to your hostel in Aguas Calientes.
  • Dinner and explanation of the excursion to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 1: Entry to Aguas Calientes

Day 2: Visit to the citadel of Machupicchu

  • Departure at 4:30 a.m. to go up to Machupicchu.
  • Guided tour of 2 hours in the Inca Citadel.
  • Free day to explore: Huaynapicchu, Inti Punku, Temple of the Moon or the rest of the Citadel.
  • Return to Aguas Calientes at the time of your choice.
  • Second night in Aguas Calientes with the opportunity to enjoy the hot springs.
Day 2: Visit to the citadel of Machupicchu

Day 3: Last Day

  • Rest after arrival.
  • Possibility to explore Aguas Calientes before 11:00 a.m.
  • Return hike to Hidroeléctrica begins at 11:00 a.m.
  • Arrive at the station at 14:00.
  • Transport unit ready to take you to Cusco.
  • Estimated arrival in Cusco around 21:00 hours.
Day 3: Last Day
