First Day:

  • Pick up of passengers at 08:00 hours in a 4×4 vehicle.
  • Trip to Chiguata and then to the Misti pampas, with a duration of 1 hour and a half.
  • Beginning of the trek from the Misti pampas to the Base Camp.
  • The hike has a duration of 5 to 6 hours, done at a slow pace.
  • Arrival at Base Camp, where you will spend the night in suitable tents.
First Day:

Second Day:

  • Early start of the ascent to the summit at an altitude of 5825 meters above sea level.
  • Duration of the ascent: 5 to 6 hours.
  • Visit of the crater, where fumarolic activity can be observed.
  • Impressive landscape at the summit.
  • Return to camp: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Return to transportation: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Transfer to the city of Arequipa.
Second Day:
